Hello Cohousing Researchers and Research Fans,

CRN is gearing up for our next set of national surveys of cohousing communities and households in 2022! We like to leverage these major survey efforts (that we do once every 5 years) to gather data for multiple researchers across a variety of disciplines, to help answer a variety of important research questions. Toward that end, we invite YOU to contribute ideas for survey questions (especially if you'd also like to help analyze the data we get back!). I am attaching the last set of survey instruments from 2017 (the community survey was completed by one member of each community, regarding community-level info, the intergen resident survey was completed by cohousers in intergenerational communities and the senior coho resident survey was completed by cohousers in seniors-only communities). You can review these to see if we're missing something important or perhaps could do a better job at formulating some existing questions. Feel free to provide feedback in reply to this email, or via our contact form. You are also welcome to join our next Steering Committee meeting on Tuesday, December 14th at 11am Pacific Time which will be dedicated to brainstorming survey content/questions.
