Ecovillage at Ithaca is 75 homes, 175 residents. Might be the biggest in the US?

Tinggarden in Herfolge, Denmark has 79 units in 6 clusters - see
McCamant and Durrett page 142. Each cluster has it's own small common
house.

We visited in 1999.  At that time residents had little influence on
who moved in.  If felt less cohesive to us.  But the residents
found it satisfying.
