Hello Cheryl,
It's so good to learn about your research and work in green building development.  I've been teaching designer students on this topic for several years now from a "3 pillar" sustainability position.  I am also part of a NJ group working to establish the state's first official cohousing development.

I would be interested in learning about your research findings and your work going forward blending the social and physical in sustainability approaches.

Great to meet you!

HI there,

I'm a PhD Candidate based out of Montreal, Canada. The empirical setting for my research has been Canadian cohousing communities. I was lucky enough to visit 12 communities and interview and survey many members. Before I returned to school I worked as a green building developer, having worked on a number of projects, including some net-zero housing. I'm currently on the road to completing my dissertation... once that is done I'll be able to mine my mountian of data for some more pragmatic information. I"m hoping to secure some funding for this in the fall. I've been writing quite a bit, with the aim of keeping this accessible for the most part, most of which I post here and here

I'm also a member of the 500 communities program, along with Sean Morris. Ultimately, I'm hoping to help facilitate the creation of more of these types of communities in Eastern Canada, as there is a strong latent demand in these parts. I'm working with a number of forming communities in a variety of capacities.

That's me in a nutshell!

Cheers,
Cheryl
