While the theoretical process of the development of cohousing is
very roughly something like:
Group formation
Recruit members
Find and buy land
build

We know groups do not always follow this sequence.
In particular, some communities had one member who bought land
they thought had potential for cohousing and then formed a group.

Does anyone have numbers on how many groups got built on
land purchased by one person vs land purchased by the group?

A further refinement would be urban vs rural land.

If not I'm thinking of setting up a survey about this.
