Hi everyone,

The Cohousing Institute’s Spring Programming starts this month! Join us for Karen Gimnig’s 12 week Facilitation course, Feb. 22- May 9, on Thursdays at 5pm MT.

Every community has meetings and every meeting is better if those who are participating have studied facilitation. This includes all participants of meetings, not just facilitators!  This class explores the role of a facilitator, the challenge and vulnerability in leading well, and strategies for facilitating meetings that build relationships and move ideas smoothly through a proposal process. Meetings often occur within a longer process of community discernment, discussion and decision-making. In support of all those parts of community life, this course covers process facilitation as well as meeting facilitation.  Learning is largely through class participation, modeling and practice.
