Hello everyone…. The Foundation for Intentional Community (FIC) is starting our Summer courses schedule next week. There are three 5-Week Online Courses which start June 2, June 3 and June 4. They are $299 each and (I was just informed this morning) with some seats available! Here they are… Building Diverse and Inclusive Communities 5-Week Online Course | Starts June 2 https://www.ic.org/diversity-course/ Learn how to foster an inclusive community that is welcoming of people across identities of race, LGBTQ, gender, and disability. Let author and coach, Crystal Byrd Farmer, lead you and your group through the critical journey of making transformative change toward real inclusion. -=-=- Starting an Intentional Community 5-Week Online Course | Starts June 3 https://www.ic.org/starting-course/ If you dream of creating an ecovillage, cohousing, coliving and permaculture community, this course will show you how to make it happen. Get ready for the experience of a lifetime as you join participants from around the world who are endeavoring to create communities. With the guidance of Yana Ludwig, you can avoid the common pitfalls of community building and set your group on a path towards success! -=-=- Thriving in Community 5-Week Online Course | Starts June 4 https://www.ic.org/thriving-course/ Do you want to live in an intentional community? Life in an ecovillage, cohousing, shared house or other coliving situation can be extremely rewarding. And it can also be challenging at times, especially if you don’t know how to navigate the social, emotional, and relational aspects of life in cooperative culture. During this 5-week online course, long-time communitarian Lee Warren will guide you through the skills you’ll need so that you can thrive in community. -=-=- Need financial support to attend a course? Apply for a scholarship. Those with low-income and from marginalized groups are encouraged to apply. FIC is committed to ensuring everyone has access to intentional community learning opportunities.
