How to communicate scholarship on the commons to a broader audience? It is 50 years ago since Hardin published his essay “the Tragedy of the Commons”. Scholars have derived a lot more insights in which conditions resource users can manage shared resources as was recognized by Elinor Ostrom receiving the Nobel Prize in Economic Science in 2009. Still the key material used in teaching the commons is the argument of Hardin. Can you help in making the scholarship on the commons more accessible? The International Association for the Study of the Commons organizes a video contest to communicate our knowledge on the commons to a broader audience.
