Hello Molly,

Glad you are interested in cohousing.   I am copying Angela Sanguinetti and Diane Margolis who lead our cohousing research network.   Diane lives in Cambridge Cohousing, which you may want to visit.   In addition, I recommend you visit Jamaica Plain Cohousing in Boston.   And check out the cohousing website, Cohousing.org to learn more about cohousing.   In addition there are a small but growing number of senior cohousing communities that should be of interest to a gerontology student.  I also recommend you contact Dr. Anne Glass, a Gerontology professor at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, who recently hosted an Elder Cohousing Research Symposium.  I hope these leads are helpful.

Hello all!

I’m a Gerontology graduate student at UMass Boston. I recently became acquainted with the co-housing model and am so interested/ impressed… Would love to learn more and see what research opportunities there are as I  start to think about my dissertation topic… Looking forward to getting to know you and learning more!

Best,

Molly Evans
